Crater Lake Poseurs

Just back from Oregon and the Crater Lake Century. Perfect weather and mild temperatures greeted five of the wickedly fit Poseur wrecking crew. We were in fact so fit hat to be fair to the other riders and Strava, we decided to only do 50 miles.

Bruce took care of lodging for the ride while Ed did all the overhead bike washing at the house. On friday we carb loaded on the Rouge River until not a nother single carb could possibly be loaded into our bodies. Feeling confident that we…

Hamilton 104.3174

Early morning monday May 30th a group of Poseurs once again took on the Mt Hamilton Massif. Start time 6;45am from Calaveras rd up tho start of the climb. Mike led the charge up the first half of the climb with Mark, Pete, Bob, and the other Mark in tow.  Not far behind Kelly, Ed, Chris, Bruce and the other Chris were plowing up the slopes of the mountian. Little did we know the  summit was a balmy 39 degrees with fog and wind. Danny who was a little late due to an EPO issue met up with the…

Don't Spectate.. its no fun, and you gain weight

Four Poseurs, Karen, Terri, Peter and Marko set out to do recon on Mt Hamilton. Karen had never been up the mountain, and Terri has been running, but not riding much. As for Peter and Marco this would be a mere light training ride.

The goal was to ride to Grant Ranch, and maybe up the next grade and return home. The lady Poseurs however decided to go for the summit. It was cold with some clouds, and little wind. The road was busy with lots of riders, as we spun up the switchbacks to…

Bad Ass Poseurs

4 Poseurs took a journey to So Cal. Ed Kely, Danny  Chris set out to do the Mt Baldy section of the Tour De Ca. I spoke to Danny just moments ago, he said that although he was by far the fastest in the group, they all did well. Something like 10.000 feet of climbing over 80 miles, with the gnarliest part at the end.

This is what its all about. Looking good while you suffer!  Good job dude's

Spring is over!

For us Poseurs spring is over, The Spring Classic was ....... Classic, in true Poseur fashion the race came together well. Saw some new equipment, some new face's and lots of energy. I think everyone agreed the track was in fine shape, with good reviews on the new sections.

The Poseur track will always be a little different each time you ride it. If anybody has any good nick names for sections of the track, let us know. M Dove and his camera crew of one,

covered the…

In 2011 I'll finish the street car and the race car. Confidence is HIGH. Is wearing Poseur swag at the racetrack allowed?.

Why is there no Poseur Nation page on Facebook?

Are you still playing host for me in February for some ice climbing?

Hi there,
I was invited by Noreen Sakazaki. She's a dear friend of mine and told me wonderful things about your website. I'm a tennis player, enjoy mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and traveling.

Hopefully I can join you guys riding one day.

Thank you,
Kitty

I actually had a booth next to you guys at the Death ride, Taylor bicycles. At the time we were living in Gardnerville NV and my wife just got a job in Bozeman MT, sweet!. I am currently building a frame for Darrell Spilsbury, another poseur. Any time you need a place to crash while ice climbing out here let me now.
Thanks, Paul

I'm signed up and the jersey is ordered!

Thanks to you and the other poseurs (Ed, Liz, and two to be identified later) that helped get me through the first 35 miles of climbing fun. Keep me in the loop when you all go out again.

Todd.

Grand Poo Bear, I tried to send you a message, at 15 minutes I aborted it. Minor glitch I guess. I sent some shirts to Jake to have printed and they will be forwarded to you. Chick shirts. We will buy them as we see them and continue the chain unless we're sitting on a lot of inventory. Pose on dear friend
